“Where
I've Been and Where I'd Like To Be”
Tom
Jackson, a well known Masonic leader and lecturer, gave a talk entitled, “Where
we Were, Where we Are and Where we want to Go”. This topic is a fitting
for Freemasonry or any organization seeking to improve itself. It is also fitting
that we reflect upon a similar theme and ask ourselves, ‘Where I've Been,
Where I am At, and Where I'd Like to Be’. Free-masonry is my way of life.
There are many roads upon which I feel comfortable traveling. My journey has led
me to the front porch of the General Grand Chapter. It is here I want to be as
a candidate and to serve you as General Grand Scribe. I firmly believe I can make
a positive difference.
In
my communication with the General Grand Officers I know
they are trying their best to move Royal Arch further into
the 21st century. I am pleased with their efforts. I also
know there is a tremendous amount of work yet to be done.
Through careful study I know where assistance is needed.
I am excited to become part of the solution and work with
a motivated and forward thinking team of General Grand officers.
My
leadership and administrative skills have been tested and proven successful, my
interest in Masonic education of all kinds has been my focus for many years, and
my concern for improving Masonic communication is evident in my Masonic websites.
In my profession I always seek to make things better and embrace technology. As
an individual I have been called a progressive thinker and proactive leader. Your
support is necessary for me to become part of the solution and work with the General
Grand Officers toward improving our General Grand Chapter and Royal Arch Masonry in General.
There
is much we can learn together. Please contact me to discuss
concerns and possible solutions.
