Bill Wine ............Secretary

Meetings:

Meetings are usually called when necessary and often at the last minute. This is to accommodate Brother Masons who may be visiting the San Francisco on business or pleasure. If you are traveling from abroad and would like to raise a pint and or share companionship at a meal please email the Secretary. If possible we'll set something up.

About The Lunchtimers

"The Lunchtimers are an informal group who meet for conviviality and fellowship and have nothing in common save an interest in Masonry. At these gatherings, cyber friends can finally meet face to face. The lunchtime meeting is the kind of informal gathering to which Brethren can bring their Masonic and non-Masonic friends. For the non-Masonic visitor, these get togethers act as an excellent first exposure to Masonry. Each group is independently governed and loosely affiliated with the International Lunchtimers Network, an informal network tying the various groups together.

History of the Lunchtimers

In early 1995, a group of London Masons who had spent considerable time conversing on the CompuServe Masonry Forum, decided to meet one evening for a pint after work. Under the leadership of their founder, Nick Alexander, this quick pint quickly led to a lunchtime get together by the same group. They continued to communicate with each other via CompuServe's Masonry Forum while others began to read their messages and interest spread. The groups have all grown substantially with interest growing throughout the United States and the world. In addition to the original London Lunchtimers (now #1), Boston #2 and Manhatten #3, there is now Paris #4, Kiwi (New Zealand) #5, Bristol #6, Indiana #7, Berkshire #8, Southern California #9, Golden Gate (San Francisco) #10, and Pittsburgh #11.
